  • 3-pole vs 2-pole: this board uses a 3-electrode RMU battery (3HAC044075-001). Using a 2-pole battery will cause immediate communication failure and can bend the connector pins — do not substitute.
  • ESD-sensitive device: always handle with a grounded wrist strap on an anti-static mat and in anti-static packaging. Never touch the bare contacts or components.
  • Confirm by robot serial / SMB unit label: verify the exact robot model and SMB unit part number (3HAC046277-001) before ordering. RMU101 (3HAC044168-001) and RMU102 (3HAC043904-001) are different parts and not interchangeable.
