Design Purpose

The motor is designed as the drive source for either the second or third axis of the IRB 460. • Abnormal noise or vibration — worn bearings or damaged pinion teeth produce grinding, clicking, or rumbling sounds, often more noticeable under high acceleration.
• Insulation breakdown — measured resistance between windings and ground drops below the safe threshold, often detected during preventive maintenance.
