Inquiry| Category | ABB IRC5 Controller Safety Board |
| Brand | ABB |
| Product Name | SCB-01 Safety Connection Board |
| Part Number | 3HNA011334-001 |
| Board Designation | SCB-01 |
| Function | Safety-loop interface board inside the ABB IRC5 controller cabinet. Collects and routes emergency-stop, safety-gate and enabling-device signals for the robot safety interlock logic. |
| Controller Compatibility | ABB IRC5 robot controller cabinet (also referenced for IRB2400 / S4C+ applications per supplier listings). Confirm your exact controller type and cabinet layout from the documentation before ordering — ABB safety boards are controller- and cabinet-specific. |
| Mounting | DIN-rail mounting inside the controller cabinet (per supplier listings). |
| Part Type | New / original — condition confirmed with you before ordering. |
| Detailed Technical Parameters | Weight, dimensions, operating voltage and customs tariff are not stated consistently across sources, so they are not stated here — confirm by inquiry with your robot serial / spare-parts list. The board is controller- and cabinet-specific; verify the exact article number and cabinet position from the spare-parts list before ordering. |
A robot cell must stop safely when an E-stop is pressed, a safety gate opens or an enabling device is released. The IRC5 controller needs a defined board that gathers those safety signals and feeds the safety logic. The SCB-01 safety connection board is that defined ABB interface — it terminates the safety-loop wiring (E-stop, safety gate, enabling device) inside the cabinet so the controller's safety interlock behaves exactly as designed.
Because this board is defined by its article number and the controller / cabinet it fits, it is a fitment-specific spare, not a generic control board. The correct part is tied to the exact board called out in the controller documentation, so it must be matched by controller type and cabinet position rather than by a generic "safety board" description. This is a confirmed-fitment spare, verified against the controller's parts list, not a universal board. Note it is a safety interface board — distinct from the controller's main computer, axis / servo computers and contactors.
