Inquiry| Part Number | JZRCR-NPP01B-1 |
| Manufacturer P/N | 149450-3 (Motoman catalog number) |
| Brand | Yaskawa |
| Category | Robot operator programming pendant (standard teach pendant) for Yaskawa Motoman NX100 robot controllers. This is the standard, non-explosion-proof variant — for paint / coating (EPX) cells in hazardous areas, use the explosion-proof pendant JZRCR-NPP03-20 instead. |
| Definition | The handheld operator terminal that connects to a Yaskawa Motoman NX100 controller to perform robot programming, manual jogging, teach-in and diagnostics at the cell. |
| Function | Provides local robot programming, manual jogging, I/O monitoring, parameter editing and diagnostic access through the NX100 controller connection, with an integrated 3-position enabling (deadman) switch and emergency-stop for safe teach operation. |
| Controller Compatibility | Yaskawa Motoman NX100 controller family (per multiple reseller and parts listings — dosupply, apter, inrobots all cite NX100). A weaker listing also cites DX100 — this conflicts with the NX100 documentation, so confirm your controller model and revision before ordering. |
| Display | Monochrome LCD with a menu-driven interface (per dosupply and cnmarts). One weaker listing states a color LCD — confirm the display type on your unit. |
| Keypad / Interface | Tactile membrane keypad with dedicated 6-axis control keys (X, Y, Z, R, B, T), numeric and function keys, plus a 3-mode selector switch (Remote / Teach / Play) for teach operation. |
| Safety Devices | 3-position enabling (deadman) switch and a red emergency-stop button; listed as meeting ANSI/RIA R15.06-2012 safety compliance per one reseller listing. |
| Supplied With | 8 m pendant cable per the product record (Motoman P/N 149450-3). The overlay is not included — confirm the required overlay or legend separately before ordering. |
| Memory | 64M (per one reseller listing — confirm on your unit). |
| Programming Language | Supports Yaskawa INFORM robot programming (per reseller documentation). |
| Ingress Protection | Information not officially documented consistently — one listing states IP54, another states IP65; confirm with your unit nameplate. |
| Dimensions | Information not officially documented consistently across sources — confirm with your unit nameplate or consult the manufacturer. |
| Net Weight | Approx. 1.36 kg (3.00 lb) per one reseller listing — confirm with your unit nameplate. |
| Operating Temperature | Information not officially documented consistently — sources vary (0 °C to +45 °C per one, -10 °C to +50 °C per others); confirm with your unit or consult the manufacturer. |
| Country of Origin | Japan (per reseller listings — cnmarts, inrobots). |
| Condition | New original or used original. Please confirm the condition with us before ordering. |
The standard NX100 programming pendant is the handheld human interface that sits between the operator and the NX100 controller — not a generic touch panel. Robot work at the cell needs a device that is always local, rugged and safety-rated: the operator holds it while standing next to the robot, so it must survive drops, dust and daily abuse while remaining safe to use. That is why it is a purpose-built pendant on a controller-connected cable rather than a laptop or tablet.
The safety architecture is the core of the design. A three-position enabling (deadman) switch and a hardwired emergency stop mean the robot can only move while the operator is actively and consciously holding the pendant in the safe state — release it and motion stops. Programming, jogging and diagnostics then all flow through one controller-connected device, keeping the cell operable even when the network or office PC is not. Because the pendant is tied to the NX100 controller generation and its cable / connector, and because the Yaskawa pendant family spans several generations (XRC, DX100, NX100, YRC1000), selection must match the installed system rather than just the enclosure appearance. The NX100 pendant (JZRCR-NPP01B-1) is not compatible with DX100 / YRC1000 controllers, and it is the standard (non-explosion-proof) variant — for explosive atmospheres in paint / coating cells the explosion-proof JZRCR-NPP03-20 is required instead. That is why controller, generation and area classification all matter before you order.
Specific alarm codes for the teach pendant itself are not officially documented by Yaskawa — communication or boot faults normally appear as NX100 controller-side messages. If your controller displays a fault code, contact us with the exact code shown for accurate diagnosis.
