InquiryThe ABB 3HAC11440-1 is the cable harness for axes 5 and 6 of ABB IRB 7600 manipulators. ABB lists it in its spare part catalogue as "Manipulator harness ax 5-6", and in the IRB 7600 product manual it is the harness that runs inside the upper arm from the division point R2.M5/6 out to the two wrist motors — axis 5 at R3.FB5 and R3.MP5, axis 6 at R3.FB6 and R3.MP6. It is the wrist branch of the manipulator wiring, supplied as a complete assembly. Send us the robot serial number and the article number on the harness label, and we confirm the match before you order.

Send the robot serial number and the article number printed on the harness label, and we confirm the match before you order.
The wrist axes 5 and 6 sit at the end of a long, constantly moving upper arm. Running each conductor back to the cabinet separately would create a thick, stiff and failure-prone loom. ABB instead routes the power and feedback for both wrist motors through one defined harness path — out from the division point R2.M5/6 to the axis-5 connectors R3.FB5 and R3.MP5 and the axis-6 connectors R3.FB6 and R3.MP6. This keeps the wrist flexible and makes the wiring serviceable as a single assembly rather than a nest of loose cables. Because the wrist end of the arm swings through the largest angle and the highest frequency, this is also the section of the manipulator wiring that works hardest in service.
That is why the harness is revision-specific. Its length, connector set and clamp positions are tied to the exact upper-arm version and robot variant, so mechanical similarity between two robots does not make their harnesses interchangeable. Rather than comparing it by appearance, the reliable route is the label on the harness you are replacing and the serial number of the robot it came from — send us both and we match them against the ABB spare part data before you order.
Before removal: isolate and lock out the robot power, photograph and label every connector and its routing, and keep the harness clear of the upper-arm heat plate. Arrange the excess cable for the installed upper-arm length so wrist movement creates no tension or contact. On Foundry Plus robots, ABB also lists gasket 3HAC033489-001 at the axis 6 motor for replacement during this service, so confirm the protection version of your robot and we include it in the quotation. After fitting, confirm connector locking and restored cable clearance, then run axes 5 and 6 through controlled movement before the cell returns to production.
Request a quote: Send your robot serial number and the article number on the harness label (3HAC11440-1), and tell us whether the robot is Foundry Plus. We confirm condition, fitment and lead time, then send a quotation — before you place any order.
