A robot's own axes all terminate at the manipulator, so one measurement board in the robot base can collect every joint's position data and send it to the controller as a single stream. • The whole cell stops on a measurement fault — in a coordinated cell, one external axis losing its reference stops the coordinated motion, not just that axis.
