Robot Refurbished Parts
When a module fails, a brand-new unit isn't always the smart spend. A properly refurbished part, cleaned, inspected, run under load and backed by a 12-month warranty, does the same job for less, and your old core comes back as credit against the replacement. We supply certified refurbished robot components for ABB, FANUC, KUKA and YASKAWA controllers: send us the part number off the failed unit and we'll confirm a tested replacement, usually within 24 hours.
Every unit is load-tested before it ships and arrives with a written warranty report. You are not buying a board we have not checked.
New, refurbished or repaired: which to choose
The right call depends on the fault, your downtime and how scarce the part is. None of the three is "better" in every case, so here's the honest split we use on every enquiry:

If repair isn't viable on your unit, we say so and point you at a refurbished replacement. You're never pushed to the priciest option.
How we certify a refurbished part
"Refurbished" means different things to different sellers. Ours is a fixed four-step process, and every unit leaves with a report you can keep:

- Clean: Remove dust, corrosion and old thermal compound; check the housing and connectors.
- Inspect: component-level check against the OEM schematic; replace anything out of tolerance.
- Load test: Run the unit under real operating current, not just a power-on blink, to the same "tested before shipping" standard we apply to new parts.
- Warranty: Ship with a 12-month warranty on most units (3 to 6 months on discontinued-series parts), plus a report of what was checked.
Core return: send your old part, get credit
A failed unit still has value: serviceable boards, housings and motors can be reconditioned instead of scrapped. Send the old core back with your replacement order and we credit it against the cost. It lowers your net spend and keeps parts in circulation. The credit amount is confirmed per part when we quote, so tell us the part number off the failed unit and we'll estimate it. How much cheaper is a refurbished unit than new?
It varies by part and platform, and we quote it per case. Send the part number and we'll give you the refurbished price against a new one so you can see the saving before you decide.
How does core return credit work?
You send the failed old unit back with the replacement order; we credit a confirmed amount against the replacement. The credit is quoted up front, not guessed, and it only applies on a refurbished replacement. A straight new purchase doesn't need a core.
Is a refurbished part as reliable as new?
Ours is load-tested to the same standard as the parts we supply new, and it carries a 12-month warranty on most units. We don't ship a refurbished unit that hasn't passed the full test sequence.
Can I ask a technical question without buying a part?
Yes. Tell us the fault and the part number and we'll say whether refurbished, new or repair is the right call. Root-cause advice is free, and you only get a quote when you ask for one.
What do I need to send for a quote?
Just the part number off the failed unit. Your robot model and serial help us match the exact revision, but they aren't required to get a refurbished quote.
